UK employees fail to use holiday entitlement

Holiday Entitlement; Almost all workers are legally entitled to 5.6 weeks’ paid holiday per year.  Known as statutory leave entitlement. An employer can include bank holidays as part of statutory annual leave.

Two in five UK employees (40%) took a maximum of just half of their annual leave entitlement during the past holiday year.  According to results in a survey by Glassdoor.  The average figure taken by  employees was 62%, while 91-100% of holiday entitlement was taken by 43%, the study found.

How mad is that USE your holiday people – everyone needs a rest – time away – Make time for you
